Programs and other chronic medication programs. We stand to give support, hope and
recovery to those in need. Meet our team below.
Jonathon Vizmeg lost his step brother to Opioid Use Disorder (OUD). After that, he spent several years researching alternatives to opioid medication and better ways to treat OUD. This passion led him to talk to Opioid Treatment Programs throughout the state of Utah and the rest of the country.
Through these discussions and research with counselors he has found that while take-home medications have a lot of potential, they are missing a human element that is key to OUD treatment. The NODE program seeks to reconcile these teachings and bring a human element to take-home medication.

Lucas has several years of experience in biomedical engineering. During that time, he has focused on applying technical innovation to improve patient outcomes and support healthcare providers. His passion for using engineering to help people led him to explore how technology could better serve individuals undergoing treatment for Opioid Use Disorder (OUD).
Through collaboration with clinicians, treatment centers, and patients, he recognized that while existing take-home medication systems offer convenience, they often lack the thoughtful design needed to support real-world recovery. The NODE program is his effort to bridge that gap — combining engineering precision with a deep commitment to patient-centered care.
